Tim Mickelson was born and raised in Minnesota. He attended Colorado State University. Shortly after graduating he moved back to Minnesota and took a job in insurance. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2001. In 2007 he became an independent insurance agent and has been helping people figure out their Medicare needs since 2012. He started volunteering for the Quilcene Fire Department out of the Coyle Station 22 in 2018.
