The regular meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners generally occurs the third Monday of each month except when the third Monday is a State-designated holiday.
The Board of Fire Commissioners is responsible for governing the operations of the District. The board is generally responsible for the following areas:
Paid staff includes a Fire Chief, three Company Officers, and two temp-hire firefighter/EMTs. A full-time District Secretary handles bookkeeping. 18 volunteers provide additional firefighting and EMS response capabilities for the District. Several more volunteers provide administrative support.
