District Secretary Bob Rewitzer moved to the Olympic Peninsula in 2015 after retiring as a Police Captain from the Fridley Police Department in Minnesota. He started volunteering with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and was soon hired in an administrative support role. In 2019 Bob was hired part-time to provide administrative support to Quilcene Fire Rescue and managed implementation of the Lexipol policy manual. When long-time District Secretary Jean Morris retired in 2021, Bob was appointed to fill the position. District Secretary Rewitzer lives in Chimacum with his wife Renee.
