Chief Tim McKern announces his retirement, effective March 31, 2027.

After an amazing fifty years of dedicate Fire Service, Chief McKern will enjoy well-deserved time with family and travel. Read his retirement letter at the link below.

To ensure a smooth future for the district, a transition plan has been initiated involving appointment of a Division Chief effective October 1, 2026. This will be an interim position with the potential to succeed the Fire Chief on April 1, 2027.  Posting for this new position will occur in coming months.
