This is a temporary-hire position that is only authorized to December 31, 2024 while the Fire District aggressively pursues a permanent funding solution (SAFER grant, levy restoration) to retain the position.
Work Environment
Duty crew (officer and FF/EMT) works a 48/96 shift schedule
Active volunteer force supplements duty crew
Crew quarters available during shift with single occupancy bedrooms; communal kitchen, living, bath; fitness center
BLS ambulance equipped with Stryker cot and load system; LUCAS CPR device
Salary
Starting $4,396.08/month per IAFF Collective Bargaining Agreement
